Ok,

have a slight problem on my 2005 55 plate v70 T5 P2 ...

when the lights are OFF , and use the windscreen wiper jets, the water from the bumper headlight jets squirt ,

when my lights are ON , they do not squirt when using the windscreen washer jets !!

I always thought they only worked when lights are on ?????? not when lights are off ?

mine work whenever.
maybe its to stop the glass shattering when the lights have been on for ages and heated-up?
just a guess tho...

I often wonder what other surprises mine has in store lol.
the amount of times I've gone "that's not supposed to be there..."
one of my horns is hiding behind the front bumper, above the foglight!

If they are xenons headlamps then the washers should operate every 5th squirt of the windscreen washer when the headlamps are on. That's what my last two cars have done. I would have thought the Volvo system should operate in a similar fashion.
