Hello all,
First of all, I apologize for my bad English...I am French (no one is perfect !)
This site is really nice and actually I feel now less disapointed as I may find some support here to help me to solve my huge problem.
I need an engine as the one of my C70 T5 of January 1999 87000km is dying day by day. I get several advices from "expert" in mechanics. All told me that the only serious way is to change the engine. So, if anybody knows where I can find an engine B5234T3 for a good price, please let me know. Thanks.

You just missed one on Ebay went for £227 inc all ancillaries,
Not too many T5's in France i presume that would be the first place to look,
What is the actual problem with the car?
Welcome to the site ;)

hi what symptoms do you have to make you think your engine is dying. it is very low milage and would have to have been very abused to get into such a state that it need replaceing. perhaps we can be of assistance in an other way. cheers

There are two problems. Very curiously they appeared simultaneously. I can just characterised the problems by the noise i can hear. One is a "ding, ding" which appears and disappears wtih no apparent reason when the car is not moving. The other noise appears around 2500 rpm til 3000 rpm. It's a RRRRRRRRR. Mechanics expert told me that the first is a hydraulic pusher (the part which command the valve) and the second is a broken piston axle...For the first problem, no problem in fact but for the second....

Thanks for your good words.
I still have a doubt actually as first of all it has been told to me by Volvo mechanician that it is a problem at the bottom part of the engine. Then, I heard that it is a broken piston axle. I wonder if the camshaft could not be responsible of this RRRRRRRRR ?

Reccomending Braydon & Salvo. Price for engine only for similar milage to his would be around 1200 Euro.
