Hi all,,,

where can I find the serial number of my engine which should be stamped on it,,,

2005 55 plate Volvo V70 T5

Ive looked ... but failed !!!

Now, I know I've seen it...
Aah.. on tba side timing belt cover or stamped on the back of the block. Near the cam cover.

Will take a look , found the cam cover sticker but just need to find the stamped number...

Do a Google image search on t5 engine serial number locations, there's pics. Id link some but im using stoopid phone lol.

It's stamped on the back of the block under the exhaust. You will need a mirror and light.

It's on the back of the engine on the block, on a lug sticking out, it's facing down, behind number 1 cylinder. It might be easier to take the engine out. ;)

sorry being really thick here, as you look at the engine is that the side near the cam cover to the rear of the engine?

Oh yes Im good at taking things apart... its putting them back together !!! Doh !
