am picking up a 850 t5 estate automatic m.reg on sat am wanting to put a
dump valve on it how will it work with the auto box as it dumps when u take
foot off accelerator with a manual.

also whats the best dump valve :B_steerin

Your car has a dump valve already. If you search on "dump valve" you should come up with plenty of info on the subject... a lot has been written on DVs in the past...

You need a twin piston one for the T5, Bailey are a good make.

On your new T5 auto you have a re-circulating dump valve already.
Fitting a new dump valve wont actually do anything to the car apart from making it sound good!
Kalmar Union do a good dump valve kit, which includes the necessary blanking plate, not sure how much though.

Ive got the kalmar union kit on my t5, works fine and not too noisy and doesnt cause any problems with stalling .
