855 Spoiler Removal

Hi all. Along with the torx bolts, is the rear spoiler stuck to the rear screen? If so, do you use a cheese wire (obviously not abrasive like) to remove it?

It shouldn't be, al the estates I have owned have jut been secured using the clamp on brackets. For ford t25 each side if I remember correctly

Some do have little square pads underneath guessing to stop any rubbing, when i removed the Mrs spoiler they stayed on the spoiler not the car i think lol

ask flatout phil, i believe he has a novel (if a little long winded) way of removing the rear spoiler

Cheers guys. Just Torx screws eh! I removed them all but it was stuck fast, so not wanting to force it, I thought I'd seek advice! It does look as though there is something sandwiched between the window and the spoiler, which got me thinking 'sticky pads'!

Yeah just force it a little it has sticky pads
