no revercing lights no my 850 alto estate

hi folks can any one help i have no reversing lights no my 850
i have checked fuses bulbs but i still have no power to them in reverse
can anyone help thanks bill

Sounds like the reverse switch has packed up I'm afraid, unfortunately, I have no idea where it's located.

dose any one know where i locate the reverse switch on an automatic 850

if its the same as a manual then its on the top of the gearbox,you have to take off or atleast move the air filter box to see it....done one the other day the wires had broke so easy fix!! im not saying yours will be the same but you never know ;)

if its an auto then the reverse lght switch is part of the pnp switch and it cant be changed seperatly. also the reverse lights are not cheacked at the mot.

you will need to change the pnp switch which is located on top of the gearbox under the air filter.................this is what you need e-bay item number 290687435817...................hope this helps
