Swappable ECUs?

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, is it possible to swap an ECU from the same model or do they have to be reprogrammed for each car?

In my old Rover it had to be matched with the alarm ecu

No bother swapping ECU's over in an 850/P1 *70. As long as there from same specced cars. I have 2 spare ones for mine (came with a spare and have a mapped one as well).

You can not swap over p1 me7 ecu's. Just to clarify
