Is this minor cosmetic surgery easy to perform? Has anyone a photo of an estate without them?
Cheers

Cracking cheers guys. I presume once the rails come off the vacant gutters have retractable covers to fill the void left by the rails

Unfortunately not, you need to purchase new plastic strips which run from the bottom of the windscreen to the boot. Very expensive through volvo but sometimes appear secondhand though breakers.

If you take a quick look on fleabay, there are loads of 850's advertised for breaking that have the inserts you need, it's just finding one local. Could always ask if they're prepared to post 'em !!!

Nice easy job. Nice clean lines. Most of the clips have seen better days, all 28 of them! Anyone recommend a good place to source them from?
Thanks.

Quite a lot of people who don't have the rails seem to want them, perhaps you could do a swap with someone.

I prefer the roof rail look. Can be a bit more practical too.

My 855 never had roof rails either.
I don't like them, but then again I also removed the spoiler..
