Why not try a burnt orange look, not too dark but not in your face either.
The nice summers evening look, with a mid anthracite calipers to set it off.
If you look about you can get a slight orange tint for the rear windows if that floats your boat to tie in the look.
I have a white V70 which the windows are 80% tinted and getting some 17" dark Anthracite Saturns to tie the look in.
Will finish it off with a black wire grill.

Hope this helps in some small way.

Personally, I'd go for a lighter colour on a dark car but I have seen some Anthracite look good on a dark green.

As for the calipers, silver and red are the only other colours you have on the car, coz of the lights.

I'd go for the red calipers behind a darker silver for the wheels.

Thanks for suggestions..

Not particularly brave so gone for a lighter shade of anthracite.

Still not sure about calipers yet

Got the black badgeless grill on today thinks it may need a little something extra? Carbon volvo badge offset?

Nice looking bus.

Can I ask how much effort was it to take the trim off smooth it and repaint? was thinking about doing mine as it faded quite abit.

I've recently had my 17's done Renault gunmetal grey with a bronze metallic.

Like the wheels bud....

Ya its time consuming but worth it. Took a day if prep, strip them down, da them down with 250 then 400. Apply a flexible primer. I then out them in with car to be painted.

Looks nice, clean and modern.

Just had wheels painted today in Volvo titanium grey. Pics to come tomorrow...

Hows the wheels looking Lillico?

I've spoken with my painter and he's willing to do them for me.

But how the hell did you get the strips off I'm at a loss and don't want to break anything?

Cheers,

Matt

The door centres are stuck with double sided tape and a couple of clips which probably will break dut mine fitted back fine.

I heated them with a heat gun and worked my way along. They are very ell stuck down tho

The bottom of the doors are fixed on inside lip of door, 3 on each I believe with a torque screw 5 ithink.

The sills have push clips and riveted on wheel arch ends so you'll need new clips and rivets I would think as mine were brittle

The front and rear bumpers are clipped from inside the bumpers so have to remove bumpers unfortunately.

Wheels look good will post tonight when get home
