Will a non volvo/volvo recommended autochanger marry up to my oe volvo head unit ?

alpine is the only ones that are compatible, and you'd be looking about £160+, or atleast that's what i was quoted.

Keep checking e-bay though, i got my volvo one from ebay and it only cost £60, but had to spend anopther £30 for a cd changer lead because some numpty had took the changer before i bought the car and instead of unplugging the lead, they chopped it!

Cheers Mark, it was the cheaper non Alpine ones on ebay that caught my eye,it would get round my problem with the oe single cd not working (see other thread).As its a 2nd car/bit rough around the edges runaround i don't really want to spend too much on hi fi stuff, getting the single cd to work would do :) (Hope when current no.1 car is eventually sold to get a minter)
