dash in darkness

a bulb or 2 has failed in my dash('94, 855) and my gear selection panel at side of lever(auto) is intermitant:(

1.how do i change bulbs in dash? can i fit a differant colour?

2.any ideas on the selector illumination?

DW , get a Haynes manual off someone , explains in detail how to do it....
changed a bulb in mine the other day took about 3/4 hour , easy to do though
just lots of screws to take out....

you know when someone says something and you suddenly realise how dumb your are, thanks dicky. i will remove the haynes manual from the boot of my car and open at the correct page:)
