are the dice units on ebay any good. whats the difference between these and a generic code reader.

The eBay units work well with Vida and give you full access (except software download updates unless you pay for them) to all the goodies. The generic code reader will only give you access to the engine ECU fault codes and no streaming data either.

Def worth it. It works on the whole Volvo range and it will pay for itself within a few uses.
