Ive recently changed the front end on my V70 R with some Progector headlights and XC70 grill. Also tinted the windows. Ive got a quote to wrap my bonnet in a §§§§ hot looking carbon fibre weave. Also got a quote at getting the whole car WRAPPED in MATT BLACK. Getting the wheels recon'd and going to keep them dark grey ..... but whats your opinion on going a darker grey or even black? HELP HELP HELP

I'd say leave the bonnet and get some lowering springs. It would look a lot meaner if it was 25mm lower.

I've seen a carbon wrapped bonnet, and IMHO it looks crap, especially afetr it's been washed a couple of times. I have to agree with Liam, and say slam it.

i keep looking for lowering springs, but all the ones i see are for every model v70 ecluding the awd........... Grrrr!! Yeah i want a subtle 30mm drop. I have orderd a complete black big block grill from the usa. But looking at their feeback on flea bay im not expeting it soon. So its got the xc70 grill on it now which im taking quite a like to since putting it on. Breaks it up abit

it is a very good looking car.

Have you got self levelling suspension (nivomats)?

Fronts afaik shouldn't be a problem, you will be able to pick up lowering springs/shocks ok, rears you might struggle (especially with Nivomats).....unless your loaded lol

All AWDs came over here with nivos so no lowering options with just the springs.
They did do standard shocks in other countries but then you'd need to get diiferent springs of course but I don't think AWD springs are the same 'shape' as FWD so you'd need to get some custom springs made for you.

Here are the standard AWD shocks.

Looks good! If you dont need them, ditch the roof rails. makes for a ''smoother'' or ''streamlined'' car :)

It's like Graham's car's evil twin lol.

Machine guns.

that'll make it look menacing.

Machine guns, poking out the front wings.

And a rocket launcher on the roof.

Seriously tho, please don't spoil a good thing by c/f wrapping the bonnet, pleeeese.

Carbon fibre front spliter and a huge front mount would make it look mean.... although it does look pretty mean already

One colour looks gash BTW... always hate it.

Light car, dark wheels.

Dark car, light wheels... A really clean look on the body and a set of Chromes/hyper Silver will look pure sex on yours.

You could put a sharks fin on the roof!!

For some reason when i bought mine it had a loose plug in a hole which did let in some moisture so i put the aerial on but it`s not wired up.

Gotta agree with the monkey. I do think contrasting wheels and body is always a winner. But then again if you're going for the 'stealth' look then black on black high gloss finish. If you do black wheels I'd say make them metallic. Plain gloss black wheels tend to lose their definition when you look at them but if they are metallic they still stand out without standing out if that makes sense.

Put one of these on the bonnet, that will make it look more menacing.
