Can the light be reset by me, with a few flicks of switches? I can't find anything on the 98 model

It happened to me when I had a car serviced before the service was actually due. Even though just serviced, the light came on when it reached the service required mileage.

there is a way of getting the service light off, well it worked on my ME7 without having it plugged in, something to do with the trip counter reset IIRC

its a combination of holding the trip reset and turning the ignition key on/off, i have done it before but cant remember now
