I have a brand new set of lowering springs for the S60R and wondered if anyone might be interested. They are still in the box unopened.

I purchased them at the same time i bought some new wheels but since fitting the wheels I've decided against fitting the springs as 19" wheels make the ride firm but comfortable but I feel any firmer and the comfort would be compromised.

Are they the same part number for both the S and V then?

I've still got the 17s for when the weather gets colder. :-) plus it drives great as it is. The extra grip from the 35 profile tyres is pretty noticeable.

Nothing wrong with big wheels, I have 18s on my S70, with 35profile tyres! Also lowered 35mm all round. Makes for much improved driving, especially when you can go round corners as fast as most can go in a straight line!

Yes. The S60R/V70R use the same springs and shocks.

Is that why Formula 1 cars run low profile tyres ?? :)

I wouldn't go back to 18's although they can feel solid I think that depends on the tyre and if it's got a stiff sidewall.

The roads up here are pretty 3rd world so I guess it's a compromise maybe I'd feel differently If I was on the autobahn every day.

They are single seaters, touring cars don't run profiles like that lol
