No all repairs haven't been done waiting on insurance getting in touch with me tomorrowapparently but I can't neglect her because of their incompetance and its the first time I used a megs clay bar today and all I can say is WOW

Looking great there. I'm hoping to have my black C70 looking something similar soon.

Those clay bars are amazing aren't they. Leaves the paint feeling like glass. Dunno if u know but another little trick with them is to use a bit of meguiars spray on speed detailer and the clay bar for when you've got stubborn dead bugs on the windscreen or front bumper that don't wanna shift. Pulls them straight off.

Looks lovely - now don't let the environment spoil it - you need some decent sealant on it to ensure that the dirt can't stick itself again. BTW tardis is a good thing to have to reduce the need for future clay action (something your arms will be glad of).

dave my arms were in pieces earlier but im quite pleased with the results... I want to give it another good going over before york, but it all depends on what the insurance company say tomorrow, hopefully I am going to get time :-)

Once the clay removes the bonded inorganic contaminents you really ought to save yourself the job of doing it again, by properly sealing it. Look under Cleanyourcar.co.uk, polishedbliss or any reputable detailing product site - there plenty to chose from. Some come with wax components.

If you had access to a DA polisher then I'd say this is now the time to correct your paint, by polishing out the swirls - however if you don't then sealing it will help keep it cleaner in the long run.
