AC/Heater fan cutting out

1997 V70 T5 CD auto 104K aka 'serious metal'

Fan cuts out within two seconds leaving the 1st green ac light on and the other two taking turns to blink orange. This happens no matter what setting is selected. After a few minutes the slide switch will restart the fan - which again cuts out...........
Will this require Houdini stuff under the dash - or something simple ?

You have a fault on the aircon side of things and you will need to get your codes read,

Robin, i was told that the power connector was loose to the fan motor, i havn't a clue how that happened but it works fine now. my compressor was clicking on/off so don't need a re-gas.
the trouble is it cost me £70 + vat..even Gordon Brown got £12 :pants:
