engine sounds like a jet engine on boost

just came from doing a track day and got black flagged for noisey car (107db) but the noise was when on high boost in 2nd gear coming out of corners. also had a dyno other day and it made it but just thought it was from the pipe they put in exhaust and dyno says that power drops rapidly after 5000rpm. no engine lights on. seems to be a boost leak at high rpm. any ideas or thoughts?
oh and its a 2001 c70 t5 me7

Check the short hose coming out from the turbo to the first intercooler pipe for splits.
Also since the intercooler pipe is made of plastic, heat coming from the turbo (more so if there's no shield), can melt the pllastic off (deformed) and can create leaks.

was thinking maybe wastegate is §§§§ed and is dumping the air when hitting higher rpm. is this something that can happen and what should i be looking at?

I doubt that you would get that noise level from a damaged pipe. 107 db is pretty loud. Have you ever had the car noise checked before ?

no, its only when it went on a rolling road and my mates saying on track day how bad it is. only hear it very little when driving
