New Car 855tdi

I am new to this area of the forum, but have just purchased brett855tdi's Tdi.

So,

A couple of starter questions:-

1. The fan does not work, think it is the dash board switch. Any suggestions.

2. The rear (boot) card is off. How do I re fix?

3. Only one remote for the locks, can I get another?

Thinks that it for now...........

I must say I am pleased the purchase and I estimate will cut my commuting fuel bill by £500.00 per month.

The fan switch:
1. i have a suspicion it maybe as simple as the plug into the unit as 4 stopped when i removed the phono cable from the head unit,
2. the 4 fuse may have gone
or
3.the switch has died completely.
I was going to try fitting the climate control unit from a higher spec, the units go cheap at breakers ebay etc.
would you like me to try and source the parts? (will put in vpcuk wanted section)
i think thats the best place to start.
The rear panel repair kit you can get from main dealers (very common on 850) for about £14 including vat, that will give all the new clips needed to refit.
