Do any of the T5 engines have a MAP sensor rather than an Air Flow meter?

Me7 cars use both,but earlier cars use just maf

:wtf: Please correct me if im wrong...but i thought they were all the same thing, just called different things.
MAP sensor or Mass Air Potentiometer
MAF sensor or Mass Air Flow meter
They all do the same thing ie measure volume of air flow...just that some are hot wire.

...Anyway can anyone elaborate on this..

Also why u wanna know??

I wanted to know because an AFM/MAF is a restriction in the intake path directly to the turbo, after a certain bhp you start to notice this restriction, where as with a MAP sensor you do not have a restriction as far as im aware of.
