hi all has anyone had any results from running a polished/gas flowed throttle body

Are you meaning with the standard one as most people tend to fit the 3" one

i polished & cleaned up the butterfly on my 3" while it was off, but tbh being such a small piece of pipe doubt it will make much difference compared to the rest of the piping the air goes thru

Havent got a clue on the standard one but have heared good reviews on the larger one

porting and polishing is pretty much a waste of time on a Turbo car from what I hear ?
Simple solution... bigger, badder turbo !

If only funds would allow lol well its polished to near mirror finish so going to stick it on if it dont make any differnce least i know its clean lol

Mine is a rebored stock one, without the plastic lump in it.
No bigger externally, but noticeably bigger internally, remember to open up the inlet manifold too! ;)

Its on the throttle body flap, it reduces the amount of air going though the body at small throttle openings

Never noticed a plastic lump in mine is this in the manifold or the body
