Hi,

Is the M56H gearbox a 850 or V70 box ?

I think it fits both, but really early ones 94 models have different speedo drive

it was used in both. 850's/early S/V70's have an external clutch slave cylinder, ME7 (1999-) then changed to an internal. Early 850 versions also had a speed sensor on the gearbox, while 1995/6- changed to getting the speed from the ABS

my 97 is an internal slave

My 96 850 has a internal clutch slave and a M56H, on the V5 it was registered in Aug 96
