Hi everyone just a quick one, how hard is it to remove the rear bumper? I've had a quick look and I can see the row of torx screws underneath and the rivets holding the arch liner on but are these the only ones holding it on? Surely there's gotta be some hidden nasties?

Cheers
Tom

I think from memory ( which ain't what it used to be! Lol )
You need to take off the main support before you can get to all the torque screws out.
So look for the two main bolts on the back of the bumper and the 2 small ones on each side behind the rear wheels

There are a couple of bolts on either side that are bolted to the underneath of the body of the car, but they don't go into threaded holes... They have a nut on the back! Ffs! So ill need to take the bumper off to get to he nut, so ill just grind the heads if and pull them out :)

theirs a nut tack-welded inside the chassis rails, but they corrode over time so the welds snap when you try to undo them. I got 3 out of the 4 undone but the 4th snap on me which is when i just cut the bar off. As you say once the bumper is off you can get into the rail & undo them properly

Lol not always a bad thing I suppose! As long as its not structurally integral I don't see the harm in grinding it out lol
