Can you drive an S60/V70 without cluster?

Hi All

My latest motor (S60 D5) has started the dreaded clock countdown. That's the only issue at the moment but I'm guessing it'll get worse.

My question is, can I use my car whilst the clocks are away for repair??
I only work 5 mins away from home, so I wouldn't need a speedo for a few days while they're away.

and if you have the dim unplugged with the battery connected, you'll trigger the srs warning :(

when i took the dim out my bosses v70 p2 we still drove the car in and out the workshop,it didnt make any diffrence to the car,
