This is how you tune and modify a Volvo - bar none

Now watch and look at this!!! Makes IPD look like a bunch of amatuers!

Check out the angle gear cooler and the ability to switch on and off the awd from 2wd to 4wd. Absolutely incredible.

Looks like he's getting torque steer, which you wouldn't expect in a 4WD car.

Posted this a while back, its quite an impressive build.

Not sure I agree with completely replacing the whole Volvo ECU, electric throttle etc etc but it is a very different direction for a build on an S60R and completely bonkers.

Need to sort me a similar downpipe at some point ;-)

That's not torque steer my friend. If you look closely, the steering wheel is only moving because the tyres are losing traction, hense the TRACs light flashing, even at 60mph. Consequently the car is sliding to the left and he is just correcting it. Hardly suprising really cos his temp guage says -2*C and the road surface is covered in what looks like wind swept snow and probably some ice too.

I'm not sure thats the TRACS light, I think its the engine light.

Torque seems to be a little high ended - but given that it revs to 7500rpm - I'll let them off. I am also guess that the ETM is too difficult to manage on stand alone ?

watch the vid from 5-8 seconds. There are 2 amber lights that flash the one on the left is the tracs light.

EML came on briefly once, rest of the time it was TRACS light.
Spinning all 4 wheels in the icey conditions, not exactly hard. Mine will do that on snow and ice or icey road surface if i a really hammer it.

That wasn't 3 second 60 though, more like 5. Still good for a barge though!

That has just reminded me about my Dad's old phase 2 V70R. It was unreal.
I've been playing with my new s80 T6 recently. Only thing is it just doesn't have that growl of the T5 engine. It is rapid though. I think its just too refined.

Maybe a powerflex top mount might help some noise transmission to the carbin. Its bust anyway.........

I think he's able to use an external waste gate, as he's using a stand alone ECU, also not got the electronic throttle.
