Looking sweet mate, that's a great colour. As above tho, these things do look too high as standard, dunno why they made the arches so big too...
Mine's even higher, also on 17"s

yep :( (my sig is a bit of a giveaway lol) sits about 30-40mm higher on the back than a standard V70 too. But they do sit far too high.

Oh yeah! What a Doyle! Lol!
Police spec V70's are given extra ride height at the rear to compensate for load they have to carry.

Strangely though, it doesn't wallow about on the back end like the standard ones do. I just throws the back out if you hit a bump while cornering hard

There's enough in the back with pushchair, toys and 2 toolbags. If any doughnuts make it to the car, they won't be going in the boot, that's for sure! lol

Of course it will. Depending on your mileage aswell, i would replace the shocks, but stick with oe fella.

Some of the donuts that get thrown in the back might not be of the edible type

you should be ok then. With 56k your shocks will have done about half their expected life. I would never push a set of shocks past 100k no matter car there fitted to.

MattM...

I have my R lowered on Eibach Pro kit 30mm drop all round and TPi spacers, 12mm on front and 15mm on rear. She is also fitted with OE shocks that were replaced last year. Also 18" wheels. Heres the outcome...

How much for the lowering kit Lee? Ive never lowered a car before, did your handling change and was there scuffing? I know as standard I have to be careful where I place the car going over certain bumps

How much for the lowering kit Lee?

About £160. Had mine fitted by people that know what there doing and had wheel alighnment done aswell before the drive back. They charged me £50 a corner to fit.

I would not recommend lowering until you have fitted the Volvo Alloy plate underbelly tray. I have scraped mine many a time so its doing its job.

Lee - Did you replace the original wheel bolts with longer ones - any recommendations?

Love that colour.

Very smart but understated car, who'd have thought its got 321bhp.
