when I use my left-hand indicator, it's started making a buzzing noise which gets faster with the engine revs.
It's driving me potty!!
Has anyone else had this?

sounds like it could be your flasher relay is on its way out

Its not anything to do with a tow bar is it as i had a similar problem a few years ago on a car and it was the connection in athe tow bar electrics.Unlikely to be the problem but possibly worth a look.

I haven't got a tow bar.
Could be the flasher unit, but the noise is coming from behind the dash by the computer info switch.

i do not know where the flasher unit is in the volvo but had a few cars that it was tucked away nr the dash might be the same with the volvo i do not know
