t5 engine build

i read some time ago that people have used different t5 engine parts to build a stronger engine ie different bottom ends and heads together. what do people recommed? im looking to build an engine soon so looking for pointers, its for a rwd project i have in the making

A simple pre me7 t5 engine is fine with forged rods, pistons if needed, and also some head work will fly with the supporting parts

or redblock it but i always say that for rwd applications lol.or you could go t6 motor even better whiteblock to use.
