...continued trying to install the birch wood trim today, managed OK with the bit between the seats but how does the other bit come out?
This is what I'm left with;

Do I have to remove the whole dash?
Thanks in advance.

It's a massive pain in the §§§§ unless you have tiny hands.

Torx screws behind the fascia, all around the panel. You don't have to take the dash out or anything like that. Just patience and a variety of length torx screwdrivers / keys.

I must have done three now and hate the job! Others are more competent and can probably help you out with some specific advice on how to make it easy!

Made easy by using a tiny ratchet with the torx bit you can see where thr screws are in the one you have to fit where abouts are you?

I used a tool made by draper, a round mirror head on the end of a flexible stem so I could see the back of the panel which helped locate the screws when putting them back in. To take it out I just felt for them with one hand and undid them with the other
