What can i do to my 2.0 lpt C70 to make it a bit quicker besides buying a T5 in the first place .I bought it because it was a 50 k car with fsh and in saffron pearl would be grateful for any input

Well if you like the car, but just want a bit more go then -

panel/cone filter
sports cat
remap

Not sure how much power the 2.0ts are but i'd have thought you could get it to t5 performance with those mods.

Drive a 1.0 punto for a week than c70 u`ll feel the diff lol Seriously a remap.

Just read that the 2.0t only has 160bhp and 170lb/ft, thats quite a way off the 240bhp and 258lb/ft of the t5s.

You should be able to get around 200bhp with the remap, filter and sports cat, though.

TBH I would save your money - & just buy a 5 pot 2319 and have done with it. T5 C70's are so cheap now - it makes me cry when I think how much I paid for mine.

I've been in a 2.0t pre and post remap and the difference was quite noticeable, without appearing rude on the pre remap you couldn't even tell it was a turbo as it felt quite gutless that was a cab C70 not coupe if it helps.

There was someone on here who had 2.0t and mapped it.He was well pleased but can`t remember who it was,sorry.I promice I thing after just a remap is a smile on yr face mate.

TBH I would save your money - & just buy a 5 pot 2319 and have done with it. T5 C70's are so cheap now - it makes me cry when I think how much I paid for mine.

Don`t cry Dave,u got yrs years ago and alot of ones for sale been abbused by a little chaves.Want a good one buy carefully.

Get the handling sorted ! You'll go faster than faffing with the engine.... although power is addictive :)
