Been out in the C70 today, and it's not got the 'driveability' factor that my HLM304 remapped p1 V70 T5 has. I'm thinking of a remap for the C70, but which should I go for please? I presume that it's going to cost quite a lot more than the £150 for the V70 as well?

Always hurts driving a non mapped car if your used to one lol £150 or £300 from HLM i think or Rica agent in your area.

I may take a drive down to HLM this time, as the ECU was sent in the post last time, so I didn't actually come down. I'll have a look on their website to see if there's a price.

My old c70t5 had the me7 engine so I purchased the official Rica ppc remap. Cost about £500 iirc in 2009 from R.T.Mechanics but this obviously included the ppc box, so I could just plug it in and take the map on or off whenever I felt like it. Noticeable improvement and very smooth power delivery. Had to use it with v-power fuel or similar obviously.

Thanks Frankie. Not too bad then, and for the difference that it makes....

I'll put it on the list for the next few months.

My last few cars have all beeen remapped.
I find it hard to be happy with a car knowing that with a remap it can be so much better.
I am off to HLM on Friday for a remap!
Has to be done!

Exactly, I drive the V70 and I love it, but then the C70 without the HLM304 map just seems 'dead'. The V70 was £150 and that was well worth it. If the C70 is £300, then that again is well worth it. What car are you having done?

Well worth the drive up from Kent. Is it costing you £300 out of interest please?

Yes it is. I have heard good things about the remap, so it should good.

My report will be here on Friday evening.

It will be no a no §§§§ rating on the remap by HLM.

I am confident the result will be positive.

Ring HLM first to make sure because he quoted me £500 for a remap + some rolling road time for my specific mods and that was 2 weeks ago it was going to work out at about £600 + a tank of fuel there and back

Remapped C70 will rock!! Mind you I never had a straight mapped one - it got the 19T on it almost as soon as it was bought.

I have spoken to Hamish and all is fine. He knows what I want and I know what I expect.
I believe we understand each other.

I'll get it done at some stage this year, but I'd also like my D5 done as well! The C70 will probably come first though.
