Ok, Need help on this one, But no guess's lol.

My Gearbox has seen better days, it's a 1994 m56h obd1 , By which i mean it takes the speedo reading from the sensor on the lower side of the Box/flywheel (not the later abs sensor ring obd2) way.

Clocks are also different, if you put obd2 clocks in a obd1 car the speedo does not register as it's taken again from the cv joint's abs ring NOT the box.

I'm fitting the later obd2 box to my obd1 car, I've heard Pedro has done this.

If i fit the later box can i use the later speedo clutser? obd2 because i will be wiring the plug which would normally go to the gearbox, to read from the abs pick up on the joints instead?

So are all the sensors and everything in place to take a speed reading off the ABS rings?

My fiend has just had this done, he had the casing swapped over. Didnt cost much to get done at a gear box specialist..
