Fitting Pre Me7 electric seats

Hi all,
any body ever taken this task upon themselves, because having a look I dont have the sips in the pre me7 seats so does this require me to attempt shifting it over, or should i just leave it disconnected

On mine, if part of the srs system goes missing, it throws a code and a permanent warning, even if you put the missing thing back. :(

Yh, if you unplug an airbag then you'll get the SRS light come on the dash and due to changes to the law you'll fail your MOT! I'm glad I did it the other way round when I swapped my seats.
