anyone changed one on 2005 v70 ds ,as mine seems to have collapsed .Been told its dealer only as need to be programmed.

hi mate,
mine went on the s40 and yes it has to be done by the dealer because it has to be programmed to the keys...
you could replace it yourself but you would then have to have your car towed into volvo to be programmed anyway as it wouldnt start at all..
