Hi Guys,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with the problem I have. My 2006 model has electronic adjustable front shock absorbers and both are leaking around the top seal.
It has rarely ever been in 'comfort' mode as I prefer the firmer 'sport' ride and quite honestly the ablility to change settings is something I wouldn't miss.
I've been quoted somewhere in the region of £1200 to have them replaced by the Volvo dealership where I purchased and have the car serviced. Rufe quoted me £875 this morning for supply only.
My questions are:
Has anyone suffered the same plight?
I know less specc'd cars don't have the electronic adjust facility, is it possible to fit the non adjustable shockers instead?
Has anyone had the seals replaced on their existing leaking shockers, was it successful and what company did it?
