Most importantly - have you got a brake pipe wrench (the 7-sided thing)? If not get one before going any further! )

So that's the tool you'll need to undo the brake line without risking striping the nut.

Also something to compress the piston on the new calliper perhaps, though shouldn't need to. A pair of water pipe pliers works fine, used carefully.

Something to cap off the brake pipe while you work. Cling film and elastic band works ok.

Other than those "funnies" it's a simple Haynes-esque job.

Cool. I swore blind last time that I'd never try the job without one again! Ended up costing me a new brake pipe (as I didn't have a flaring tool to fix my mullered one).

WD40 the pipe and leave.
If you've changed brake pad before then this is not more.

Just unbolt and remove and replace is the reverse of removal.

Now for bleeding back up...???
I am never quite sure if it is:
1. Rear off side
2. Front near side
3. Rear near side
4. Front offside

Or 3,4,1,2

In the old Nissan days they good bible(Haynes) reccommended that the car should be level at all times. I'm not sure if that is relevant to modern cars or not.

It's definitely not called a 7-sided spanner. That might be a better description for me :)

ANYHOW. :D

Keep them away from daza. Last time he had one of them in his hand he broke his finger changing T5Tom's clutch. lol

If you get some grips and nip the brake pipe you dont have to bleed the lot, put some rubber round the grips to save damaging the pipe.
