16t turbo upgrade

Hi,need some advice on upgrading to a 16t turbo.I have a 850 t5 with a 15g turbo would it be a straight forward swap to a 16t?or do i have to change the down pipe too?i have done a turbo swap on a c70 from a 13g to a 16t and that was pretty straight forward.

If your 850 is a straight flange and the 16t Is straight flange your good to go, early 15g were conical, and later 16t were angled, I think the 16t on a c70 were all angled but not 100%

they changed to angled when they went ME7, so pre 1998/1999 should be straight. Also slight change in the oil/coolant connection into the ME7 turbo's, but can be reworked by lightly bending the pipes

thanks guys for getting back to me the info is helpful.just checked it out and its the straight flanged so its a 16t or a 18t straight.my 850 has orange injector do i need to change these to whites?
