Alright guys, I thought it was time to show some pics of my dads 850 T5.
He bought it off this site back in August from Dean (Woody T5) as a completely standard 2 owner car with a genuine 74k on the clock and full dealer service history (although it’s been lost). Since then it’s been put into daily service but is still only showing 78k and my dad absolutely loves it. He loves it so much he sold his Mitsubishi 4x4 in the height of winter just so he could drive the T5.
Since buying it we’ve done the following to bring it up to the best standard we can:
New door cards all round with no chunks missing
Wooden centre console trim fitted
New dash heater vents all round
New un-used cigarette lighter
Replaced & repaired passenger door light
V70 rear lights
New passenger side lower light (old one cracked)
New passenger side front indicator (old one cracked)
Clear side repeaters
Sprayed a spare front grill black (original chrome grill kept as spare)
Sprayed and fitted a Genuine Volvo rear spoiler
New set of alloy wheel caps all round
Replaced CD changer for another original working item
Powerflex poly top engine mount
Refurbished braking system
MOT & Full service
Mechanically it’s still completely standard until I can convince him that a 16T, white injectors and a remap are necessary because I say so. The only real jobs left that my dad wants to do is to fit a cat-back stainless exhaust system and refurbish the wheels when he can find something suitable to either replace the originals or use as temp measure whilst he refurbishes the originals.
