Hello All,

Just wondering if any of you had seen these, and whether there is anything to say about them? It says R 'Style' so therefore I assume not original and I noted a feedback comment about them not fitting -

Probably are reps.

What car you fitting them too? Replicas don't tend to feel as "balanced" on an S60R but might be ok on 2WD models.

Was looking at those for my dads Volvo. They say 'style' because they're replicas (as are my current wheels, doesn't make any difference)

I run these on my r and they work fine. You will need the spigot rings though or you might get high speed vibration. They work well, weigh just the same as the originals and are very well made.Mine still look great after 2 years. You could always go to Volvo and pay over £300 for EACH wheel.

Looking at the "not fitting" feedback that was for focus st wheels which although are 5 x 108 , fords have a centre bore of 63 mm whilst the volvo is 65 mm. My peg reps have a centre bore of 67mm so 2mm spigots were required. I've had no issues with them being replicas

Thanks for all the replies chaps. My car is an S60R - Do I take it then that these are not quite the same spec as the original 18 inch wheels and would need spacers, or would they fit straight on?

The car has an assortment of tyres on it (that it had on it when I bought it last October) and also the wheels are all slightly kerbed so I this looked like a good way to solve the problem of paying for refurb of the wheels and getting the tyres replaced.

Anyone got any pics of what they look like?

I have a spare set of Genuine 18"s that I am thinking of selling. Give me a day or so to work it out. Wouldn't cost much different to the replicas you are looking at, I'd think.

They wont need spacers but if its an s60r you will need the spigots. They should be supplied with the wheels.Trust me if you go far over the ton(private road of course)the car will feel like its got square wheels. The vibration is very strong.I fitted spigot rings and had no issues since. They are` fit and forget`.All a spigot ring does is centre the wheel on the hub.

After more than five years on the r i'v never fitted or needed any spacers or spigots.
Where were your wheels made ?

Ebay jobbies.Made in Germany if I remember right. The original(volvo) wheels were fine but the replicas needed spigots.

Genuine 18'' Pegasus in anthracite from Volvo Houston back in 2003 were just over £100 each and we didn't pay any tax ;) carriage was very reasonable as we bought 10 and they were palletised.

Hello mate, I have a set of 19" peg reps that I bought off eBay from the same company in Liverpool. They will need the spigot rings but they come supplied. Just check the size when you get them. Inside they should say 65.1 and on the outside 67.1 I paid 150 extra for Avon tyres from them and must say they are very good and seem to have very low road noise. I didn't need spacers and there is no rubbing whatsoever even on full lock. If you do get any rubbing check the steering stops.

Hope this helps

Well the wheels are still not on the car yet.
When I opened up all the boxes guess what one of the rims had the paint knocked off on one part on the rim looked like its was droped on the floor concrete marks on it.
Sent the rim back to get it changed which took 2 weeks ,when the new one was sent back I was away on my holidays and the driver left it on the front door step for 2 weeks ,when I got back guess what it was not there !,the carrier then told me there drivers are not allowed to leave any goods without it being signed for,so insurance of carrier had to pay out.
The new rim should be with me this week I bet the driver won't leave it on the step again and keep his job, just hope it ok this time.

Well at long last the 4th wheel has got here today it's taken 62 days from start to finish.
The DPD driver did leave the rim on the front door step again unbelievable to say the least.
Not bad for a 3 day service!!!,now to put the rubber on them

Yep at that rate I think they need a rebrand like monthly parcel damage service.
Just to fit my alloy valves into rims (cost me £12) last tyres fitters tried to charge me £3 per valve for the rubber ones, bit of rim wax then off to tyres fitters lets see if they mark the paint on the rims ,won't be very happy.
Might have a bit OCD get them to line up the tyres logo to the valves.
