forum trouble

i lost access to the forum again tonight, & we seem to have gone back a few days (who brought the DeLorean?) Is it just me?

Me too, but I've had no access for about three days. Also the pictures are all scrambled up.....Whats goin' on???...

Ok, we have had huge problems, caused by technical staff who manage the servers, i wont go into details but they managed to corrupt the whole database.

Its still being rebuilt as we speak and there is only the posts that were made earlier today that have been lost. Hats off to Kevin who has worked through the night and all day trying to resolve the issue which ended up in a complete re-install of the whole site :(

I think he has been up for 30 odd hours now, should be back to normal within the hour :)

There seems to be a problem with a few of the avatars
carson and kent canary are two that i have spotted.

Yes Ive got scrambled Canary at the moment! I dont think even Delia could manage that one..

Yeah the avatars seem to have become pixelated, probably from the way they were written back from the image reload, please just re install your avatar, they will work fine.

Thanks for the kind words, it was hell this end, and worse at Kevs :(

Is this still an ongoing problem with "pixelated" Avatars and uploaded photos in threads?

Ive noticed if you try and look at some of the older threads, many of the photos have been scrambled.

Is there any way to get them back?
