since owning the car the cruise control hasnt worked. the fuse is fine and didnt know if anyone had any ideas. its on an me7 so i guess there is no pump on it. guess that leaves the switch and the module. any ideas?

There is a vacuum box under the battery tray, also vacuum pipes connected to switches on the brake and clutch pedals.

I believe it is also possible to get a code off the cruise control, might be one of those things that doesn't put the light on.

there is also a sensor in the servo,next to the master cylinder,
if the sensor has bad connection or a fault then it will stop the cruise from working,
check fault codes for anything in it,may point you in the right place.

As your car is a ME7 model you dont have any hardware as such, its all done thro the ECU. Is your ETS light on?? and do you get the symbol on the dash when switched on??
