Thank you very much theres a couple minor things I keep telling people I will sort out, but the car is in a garage all the time so it can wait until its further up the priority list.

Its very true, you get your pleasure the proper way and the way people would understand. I get the pleasure knowing its sitting there not ageing through wear and tear if you know what I mean? Its getting MOT'd this week, cant wait, its going to fail though my handbrake needs tightened the mechanic fitted new shoes to it before it went off the road but he didn't adjust the hand brake tight enough. I will be driving it over to my house a whole 24 miles away lol then I will be starting it a few times a week to keep things moving more. Its next venture will be my wedding car.

Oh and I wish it was manual too lol

Is that a custom steering wheel

Nah like Frankie said its standard, 99% of them will be full of dirt from peoples hands and you cant tell there is alcantara there lol. I bought my one new havnt driven the car with it yet.

Really a lovely looking motor, but mechanical machines are mean to be used, that is what they are for, to leave in a garage is real sacrilege.

I have had two Volvo`s which i hardly used and had to replace calipers to just sell the car on! The pistons corrode in the calipers and the brakes will stay on.

After all it is still 12yrs old

I get excited every time I see the car still, the only thing i think looks out of place is size of the brake with the 19" wheels fitted. I would like to fit a proper R splitter too.

I dont think I'm going to have the time to do it TBH I'm putting it in next week, the car doesnt stay beside me so its not practical for me to do it unfortunetly

Looking smart Martin as it always has done, I think you should still use it a little even just for a 20 mile trip or so as sitting around things can and will still go wrong ;)

I know Andy thats why I'm taking it over to my house so I can move it and start it a few times a week.

Just reading this with interest. I have a p1 V70 T5 as my second car, and it may go 7-10 days without being used. The other week, my nearside front caliper was stuck on, so it can happen even after a just a few days of not being used. I think I will use it more often now I know this is a sympton of lack of usage.

I hate my rear bumper I traveled down to London for it. It was all boxed ready to go so didn't check it . cost me a 150 not including the fuel down there. Put it straight into Volvo to get it painted and they said they doubt they will get great finish on it. I got it back and didnt like it I can't explain what it looks like, I put it to another paint shop and I would say it's worse , people don't see it but I do so when I can im ordering a new one from Volvo it would have been cheaper in the first place

Well its home, unfortunately I never got to drive it over as planned because I just got home from India and there was no point taxing it mid month. My mate who is really into detailing seen it for the first time and told me to wind my neck in when I showed him how I'm not happy with the back bumper lol, I guess its different when it's your own car and you want to make it as nice as possible.

Here's 3 pictures I took of the two pups. The Saff really needs a good hose down it was in the garage with no cover in so its a bit dusty.
