Hi all just to confirm its over 3.5k then it's safe to plant your foot down fully with a mbc?

What are you meant to do up till then, how much is safe?

Just to confirm is it ok to just plant your foot down at any rpm when running tuned ecu and no mbc I.e. standard bcs, just when the wife drives she really doesn't care about rods.

I used to feather the throttle til 3.5-4k. It's annoying and a test of self control but when using big boost it's the best way to save your rods, unless you can afford a custom map to map the boost to be limited until 4k then full boost from then.

1, yes you can plant your foot after 3.5k just depends what you mbc is set to and how reliable it is to boost spikes.

2, take it easy you really have to adapt your driving style to be safe.

3, yes the map protects you from this.
