Thanks again to Fraser for organising the meet. Had a brilliant laugh and have nearly fully recovered from the run in Wobbly Dave's car. (That is one seriously quick car!)

Had a great run home. God knows what the poors sods we passed on the Stirling road were thinking when they had their doors blown off by 4 Volvo's travelling at warp factor 8!

The T4 held it's own much to our delight. I thought 135 was about opened up enough although we did still have a gear to go!

By far the longest journey for me.

Fitty's
Push the (M) button
Speed run
Lots of laughs
Bizarre lack of traffic jams even for a Friday BH evening.
Camera/Sock joke - I am still waiting to see it on here
"Duni throw staines at me windys"
Don't get bored etc etc!!

And that was only the start.

First off a huge thanks to Frazzle Rock for organising the event. He was a most hospitable host and a great laugh as ever. The trip up was eventful in all the right ways - so thanks lads for the company. The C70 behaved impecably - until Spesh broke it (LOL). I have to as yet get my photos developed, so they will be coming soon.

We arrived at Fraz's after 350 miles in about 5 hours, with just over 2 gallons left. Spirits were high as the torque steer on our initial encounter at a roundabout.Met Norm and Mel (Fraz's G/f - bit of a Scottie hottie!) - Few beers later in the local then it was time for bed.

After breakfast - consisting of something related to sausage - we moved on and got the cars cleaned up. Fantastic valetting place where essentially you do your own car with the professional kit provided! Apparantly the owner thinks I have a job for life should I ever need one!!

We then travelled over to Loch Long - bit more rain fell (oh and spesh broke my car - LOL)

Did I mention Spesh broke my car?

Anyway - we waited and Ben (I hope my memory is right) - came up in the 854R - super colour BTW!

No one told me that Fraz had booked lunch - so I ate a bit early!!

Have to say that the highlands were stunning! and I wacked off a few rolls of film.

Met everyone else at the George (Est 1720 no less) in Inveray. Went to the castle and Took Titch's Dad out for a run. I was very impressed with his car control - not surprising with a grade 1 licence!
Final few moments with the castle and the big cows and off home we went.
Despite a slight navigational error in Glasgow and a blow out at 80 ish with only 8 miles to go - I had a good time. Dissappointed a few more folks didnt show up but none the less it was good to meet you all. Don't think I would want to drive that again (at least not this year) and I think next time I will let someone else put the mileage on.
