ive noticed when im boosting hard and come off the throttle i get a puff of blue smoke is this normal after a turbo rebuild or is it likely to be valve stem seals. also where is the best place to fit a vacuum line through the bulk head for a boost gauge and what should it be boosting at its a v70r 1998 with a hlm 310 cheers adam

yeah feels like a new car. Was out in it today didnt see any smoke so hopefully should be ok. I rigged a boost gauge up dont know if its working cus it was reading -0.5 bar and when on full boost was going up to + 1bar does this sound right?

Feels allot quicker than it was before. Should the gauge be reading - 0.5 when off boost. Was a bit worried about the smoke so aint give it loads yet. Dont know if im gonna fit the dump valve i like the sound it makes with the blanking plate on. I know some say it aint good for the turbo
