Thoughts please on my black grille now with 'T5' badge on. Does it look better than it did as the reactions before seemed to be that it was too plain.

Yes its still on mate. I got as far as killington lake services on the M6 and had to turn round and head home. In the 46miles that i did i used 5 gallon of fuel. Something up with the car so decided just to get it back home. Hoping i can get it sorted before next saturday.

I'll try it later on the car, but I've used Araldite glue and you can't rush it. I've got the grille in a warm place and hopefully in a 2-3 hours it will have set.

Just put a K & N induction kit on as well, and my ECU is away being remapped.

Seems to be running fine. I need to check over everything as ive maybe not put something back on right since i did my PCV last weekend.

Have you got a pod or something to mount your boost guage into yet mate?

I'm eager to get it back on the car, but the adhesive isn't setting yet. I know from using Araldite before, that sometimes you have to leave it overnight, but then it gives a fantastic bond.

Can't remember what I used. It's still on though, which is a bonus. No point in rushing it.

That looks good there, but i bought a black mesh grille for my silver S70R and it just didn't suit it when it was on the car, i thought it would go well with silver, but nope. I replaced it with the "2003" C70 sports grille.

I don't really want to lower it as I find it low down already, and have banged my head several times on the tailgate. An R bumper is a possibility if one comes up some time. Thanks for the tips!!

Look mate, I'm coming to the Morcy meet with a set of wheels in the car, so I wouldn't mind coming back with a set in the car as well. They would be at the refurbers w/c 20/2/12 and back the week after. That saves you transporting them around( except for Carlisle-Morecambe and back).
