There's been a bit of hype lately about the new V40. Is it just me, or does the back end just say Ford Focus all over it?

Also, does anyone else think the single amber LED side marker (front) is a bit pants? It was quite prolific prior to the face lifts but now it seems they are all going that way (ie C30). They could have done something a bit more BMW with it to make it stand out.
