Em, that is a seriously sexy motor - I have secretly always wanted a dale winton interior (especially in a dark S60R)

Mee too, if it was lower mileage it would be a perfect motor.

I think it may be priced a tad high too? Probably worth closer to 4500-5000?

If you take in to account that the engine has done 99k and the liners must be ready to split? Plus the angled gear must be ready for doing after 99K that and all the other bit that break on them as well!

I recon your about spot on with the price Frankie!

No!

I have Driven Ashoks S60R his has well over 350bhp and loads of stuff done to it!
It was a fantastically rapid and comfortable car to drive! very Sure footed, but i did not drive it hard, you did not have to!
His has had all the niggles and engine done, and i can say it was a pleasure to drive and be a passenger in it! on road and on track!
And they give better MPG than a T5!!!

But just make sure you get a good one! or it will be a money pit!

Its like anything you get there are good and bad and it depends on how they have been treated.
Its the same with people a banker will still be able to work when he picks up his pension when he's 70 but will a bricklayer?

Monkey they are BETTER than a T5

No plus they have the 6 speed box! when i am doing 70mph @ 2800 Rpm they will be be at 2500 Rpm!

So cruising they are better! and all the guys i know with S60r always quote better figures than what i can get?

the lowest ive seen pottering about is 28.8mpg, i know if i keep it by the redline i'll be looking @ low 20's.

i do drive very calmly.. the car is currently standard & its not hard to keep this MPG, if obeying speed limits & getting into 5th ASAP the T5 is very good on fuel..

i do live on the Norfolk coast though..... i have 0 traffic EVER!!

Not sure who he was, I worked with David Goffin the service manager and I spent quite a while dealing with Chris Matthews when I first bought the car as I dictated what I wanted done to the car. He told me it was the first 5 page invoice he'd ever done... lol

I also lol'd at this... only 200 sold in the UK :) :) :)

So by now, taken into account accident damaged ones, ones that have given up etc... there must be about 50-100 left? I think not.

Try 7,500 sold worlwide in 2004 alone.
