The wiring isn't too hard, you can buy a conversion loom but you'll lose the middle speaker.

£600, about right I think, looks like a straight swap. I wonder how good the GPS is.

I've seen P2 cars with single din conversions. There are plenty of double & single TFT based head units. The Alpine fold up one I have has a Nav unit - but it was far too expensive on top of the original price.
