Couple of things, good tyres, over 350bhp (with good power and torque delivery), a good diff and also a very good driver.. That could get you under 13s.

Or just do what p fandango has done and remove most of the car! lol

Someone called elliot is at the top of the 1/4mile times with a 12.9@117mph, which is a good time and a fantastic terminal speed. Don't know what car it was though.

If any one is going to break a 13 sec barrier i think it will be Dean.I no of a mk2 fiesta with a zetec turbo engine in it pulling 12 1/2 sec quarter mile.We have 5cyls for Fu*k sake with more power as std lol we must be missing something.The mk2 fiesta is about 950kg did Duane get his car down to 1300kg?

What are them tyres called lol think they are called toyo 888s or some thing there slicks but road legal,there surposed to be good as well

You'll need to swap to smaller wheels but very wide and then have some drag radials and then soft front suspension and jack the back up and set hard plus need a very grippy diff and seam weld the shell and full cage plus strip it out and 400 bhp plus traction control would help.
Before my mate stripped his fiesta to build the 600 brake focus he has now it pulled 12.4 on the quarter at ten of the best and that was running at 400 bhp not the 510 bhp on high boost but we had to raise the back and drop the front and adjust suspension to aid traction but it handled horrible at over 100 mph on the quarter and gearbox was built for the car to handle over 500 hp and it still went bang but guy rebuilt it free as he guarented it and it was built for top speed runs as we got it featured after doing 179.8 mph at brunters.

You'll see my mates black rs turbo fiesta and also he has got Ian Howells old focus rs replica but he has just got it back and it's 600 hp now but looks like a show car still got to go and see it as not seen him for a while. The fiesta used to be fun at brunters in a car that weighed 950 kg and pair of seats and cage complete stripped car doing 170 on old runway sounded like machine gun fire at the floor I'll remember it till I die as was so much fun even though I was holding the cage as couldn't fit in the belts as they were too tight and mate took off as soon as I sat in the seat and doing 175 as had the gps gear on setting it up for the runs we did for the mag and towed it with my old sierra xr4x4 that I had owned for 2 weeks and needed new exhaust when I got home.

IMHO i think you will break it just by what you've done, your car was set up very well and you have just improved enough to get very close while i will take most of the summer to get mine right :)

i think you will need a fair bit more power to get a fwd volvo into the 12's mate, its not easy to get half a second more at the level your car is at now

Forged block and T35.......how much bloody power do i need lol, ill have to back it off as it is to find max grip but thats the challenge :) RT has 591 bhp and does the 1/4 in 13.8 which is slower than Dean :) a few of us have the power to do it it's just getting the set-up right and doing it on the day :)
